Adrienne founded SureCampus after recognising that universities using on-premises Ellucian Quercus needed dedicated, hands-on support. With a career that spans the full lifecycle of Quercus — from its creation to its continued evolution — Adrienne brings a unique combination of technical understanding, business insight, and client focus to every engagement.

As a founder of CampusIT, the original creators of Quercus, Adrienne was involved in every aspect of the business — from defining product strategy to ensuring customer success. Following the acquisition of CampusIT by Ellucian, she worked with Ellucian’s U.S. sales team to promote and implement a version of Quercus for the American higher education market.

While Adrienne valued the experience of working within a global corporation, she realised her passion lies in making a meaningful impact and working closely with a like-minded team. That belief inspired the creation of SureCampus — a company built on collaboration, integrity, and a shared commitment to helping universities get the very best from Quercus.

Margaret O’Brien

Principal Client Solutions Consultant

Margaret is a highly experienced higher education technology professional with over 25 years of experience in Ellucian Quercus and Oracle systems. She began her career with CampusIT, the original creators of Quercus, where she held a variety of roles across software development, implementation, and client consultancy.

During her time with Ellucian, Margaret travelled extensively, leading Quercus implementations for universities around the world. Her unique mix of technical expertise and business understanding gives her deep insight into how universities operate — and how to make Quercus deliver maximum value.

As Principal Client Solutions Consultant at SureCampus, Margaret plays a central role in client success. Working closely with Adrienne and the leadership team, she oversees projects, guides system implementations, and ensures clients receive outstanding support and outcomes.

Margaret is passionate about collaboration, customer advocacy, and helping institutions fully realise the potential of Quercus. Her extensive experience and client-focused approach make her an invaluable member of the SureCampus team.

Jan Navratil

Chief Technical Architect

Jan is one of the original architects behind Ellucian Quercus, bringing over 20 years of experience in Oracle software development and higher education systems.

He began his career at CampusIT, where he led the development team and served as the principal designer of the Apex version of Quercus — the modern foundation of the platform used by universities today. Jan’s leadership at CampusIT established world-class development practices and built a strong, innovative engineering culture.

Following the acquisition of CampusIT by Ellucian, Jan continued to lead the technical team responsible for advancing Quercus, ensuring the platform evolved to meet the growing needs of universities worldwide.

As Chief Technical Architect at SureCampus, Jan oversees all aspects of solution design and development. His deep technical expertise, innovative approach, and commitment to quality ensure that every enhancement, integration, and system upgrade meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Jan’s insight into Quercus architecture is unmatched — and his leadership continues to shape the future of how universities get the most from their systems.

Ausra Bartkuviene

Quercus Technical Lead & APEX Developer

Ausra is a highly skilled APEX developer and one of the original members of the CampusIT team that designed and developed Ellucian Quercus. With a deep understanding of both the architecture and evolution of Quercus, she brings exceptional technical insight and hands-on expertise to every project.

As Quercus Technical Lead at SureCampus, Ausra oversees system upgrades, core modifications, and the development of new modules and enhancements. She ensures every technical change is delivered with precision, performance, and full alignment to client needs.

Ausra is also a key problem-solver within the team, working closely with university clients to identify and articulate complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with Ellucian to resolve them.

Renowned for her attention to detail and practical approach, Ausra plays a vital role in maintaining the high technical standards and reliability that SureCampus is known for.

Ilya Perkov

Oracle Technical Lead

Ilya is an experienced Oracle specialist who leads all Oracle-related activity at SureCampus, including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and complex technical problem-solving. With a deep understanding of Oracle infrastructure and its role in supporting Ellucian Quercus, Ilya ensures our clients’ systems remain secure, stable, and optimised.

As Oracle Technical Lead, Ilya manages the Oracle components of Quercus upgrades and oversees our client monitoring services. He designs and implements reliable, scalable technical solutions tailored to each university’s specific environment.

Known for his methodical approach and problem-solving expertise, Ilya has become a trusted partner to all SureCampus clients. His ability to interpret complex technical challenges and deliver clear, effective solutions makes him an invaluable part of the SureCampus team.

Mamoon Rashid

Jasper Reports & APEX Developer

Mamoon is a skilled developer specialising in Jasper Reports and Oracle APEX, bringing precision, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to the SureCampus team. He leads the development of Jasper reporting solutions that produce high-quality documents from the Quercus system — including student statements, transcripts, and other official records essential to university operations.

As a key contributor to APEX development, Mamoon works on system enhancements, interface improvements, and new functionality that extend the capabilities of Ellucian Quercus. His work ensures that each solution is efficient, reliable, and aligned with client needs.

In addition to his development responsibilities, Mamoon actively supports the SureCampus service desk — helping diagnose complex technical issues, identify root causes, and prepare robust solutions. His blend of technical expertise and problem-solving ability makes him an indispensable member of the team.
